Teach for Nepal is a organization committed to create equal educational opportunities for every child in Nepal. They nurture a vision that every child in Nepal will complete secondary school with the knowledge and grades to be able to purse a university degree of their choice and to be able to achieve success in the national or global workforce. They believe that all children should receive excellent education that will allow them real opportunities to determine their own future,without being constrained by their social, cultural and economic circumstances.
 
TFN will recruit professionals to teach in high-need public schools for two years. It will primarily recruit individuals with the knowledge and skills to teach Math, English, and Science. They will receive intensive training in transformational teaching. TFN will also provide resources and support to enable them to make immediate impact in their classrooms.
 
TFN also aims to build an alumni network that works inside and outside the education system to bring fundamental transformation. Moved by the experience of the classrooms and with the conviction of the insights they have gained as teachers, former Fellows will become advocates and organizers, policy makers and entrepreneurs, political and social leaders, educationist and administrators – leaders in different sectors – with one vision: to end inequality in education and bring quality education to all children in Nepal.
 
TFN has joined hands with many national and international organizations to bring their goals to the forefront.
